ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Laura Widhalm grew up in an entrepreneurial family, learning how to run a successful business even before graduating high school. For 25 years, her family operated a successful restaurant in downtown Tempe, Arizona, adjacent to the ASU campus. It was here that Laura learned how to run a business from start to finish. She then worked for various companies, managing A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations, and more. Realizing her passion for helping people and their businesses, Laura founded Widhalm Bookkeeping in 2022.
Laura has actively contributed to several non-profit boards. She currently serves as the Vice President of a charter school collaborative board in the Denver area and previously served as President of another charter school board for three years. Her extensive experience includes overseeing non-profit financials, creating budgets, and guiding their implementation.
With a wealth of experience in not-for-profits and service-based businesses, Laura has also worked with convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, HOA management companies, farms and ranches, plumbing/HVAC companies, wildlife/pest control businesses, and tutoring facilities.
Laura's passion is helping each of her clients realize their business's potential!
Laura Widhalm and her family live in a small town just south of Denver, Colorado. They consider themselves serial entrepreneurs, as she and her husband love creating new businesses together. They also take pride in teaching their daughters the values of hard work, dedication, and having a servant’s heart.
In her free time, Laura loves camping with her family, riding horses, and listening to thunderstorms roll in over the Front Range. She enjoys volunteering at their church and participating in mission trips whenever possible, always giving glory to God.
Laura is passionate about her work, dedicated to keeping her clients' finances organized and fulfilling their needs.
